LGv30

Launched in August, the LG V30 was a successor to the previous flagship LG V20. Powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, the phone runs on Android 7.1. Oneplus is one of the few companies that has had success with all its phones. Launched in November, the phone has a 6.01-inch display with a resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels. The phone sports a 20+16 MP dual camera setup. Other key specs include the snapdragon 835 chipset and 3300 mAh battery with support for Dash charging. The phone is priced at $632 and you have option for either a 6/64 GB and 8/128 GB variant.
Google Pixel 2
The Pixel 2 was released in October with a 5 inch Full HD display protected by corning gorilla glass 5. Since this is a google product, It already comes with Android Oreo 8.0. It uses the snapdragon 835 and has 4 Gigs of RAM coupled with 64 Gigs of Storage. Unlike its contemporaries, the Pixel 2 has only 2700 mAh of battery capacity. The highlight of this phone has been its camera which is only 12.2 MP yet clicks really good pictures because of OIS, phase detection and laser autofocus and dual led flash. The phone is priced at $700.
Samsung Note 8
Released in September this year, the note 8 carries the legacy of the successful Note series. It has a 6.3 inch amoled display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560. The phone is slightly on the heavier sides. The phone was launched with an Exynos 8895 globally but had the 835 in USA and China. It has 6 GB of RAM and options for 64/128/256 GB in storage. The Note 8 has a 12 MP dual camera on the rear and an 8 MP selfie shooter on the front.
iPhone X
Finally, the king of Smartphones. The I-Phone series actually had launched 2 phones this year.
The I-Phone 8 and the I-Phone X. The I-Phone X being the higher version. It runs on Apples A11 Bionic Hexacore chipset. It has 3 GB of Ram and an option between 64/256 GB of storage. A 5.8 inch screen with a resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels. A 12 MP dual camera setup with OIS, phase detection and quad led flash. It has a 2716 mAh battery with fast charging. The phone is priced at $999.
