Moto G And Moto G Plus Are Finally Out With Fingerprint Reader

The smartphone lovers were waiting for the Moto G and Moto G plus to come out. Since some images were leaked out. Today, the wait is over! Today Lenovo has ended the wait here in the event @TajPalaceNewDel in New Delhi. Lenovo announced the two devices, the first Moto G and the second Moto G Plus. Moto G Plus has obviously something more that is why it’s “Plus”. So let’s take a look at both the devices and their pricing. 

Moto G And Moto G Plus Are Out!

The event to Launch Moto G and Moto G plus started with Dillon Ye, president @Lenovo, MGB Asia specific. He talked the best user experience and also how Lenovo is focused on customer-centric innovations. Then Amit Boni, General Manager of Motorola India explained that how the past has been.

We also had Allison Yi, Director of Product Manager, Motorola India talking about the design of all Moto G4 Plus. That has been very interesting. So here we are with the details of both devices, Moto G and Moto G Plus. Let’s dive in.

Moto G4s Design

Talking about the designs of Moto G4s, it comes with a Streamlined design and it’s 7.9mm slim with rounded edges and Micro-textured back. Both, Moto G4 and G4 Plus come with a 5.5-inch Display, 1080p FHD(1920 x 1080) 401ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Moto G4s With TurboPower Charging

Both Moto G4 devices are capable of TurboPower charging. This feature allows you to charge your phone for 15 minutes and use it for 6 hours! This feature is really loving, it really is for people who have less time for charging their phones but the whole day to use. The series has a 3000mAh battery.

Moto G4 + G4 Plus Processor

Both Moto G4 devices have a 1.5 GHz Octa-core Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 CPU Adreno 405 @550 MHz GPU.

Moto G4 Camera

When talking about the camera, both devices have different camera quality. THE Moto G4 camera has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It also has a wider range of 84 Degrees wide angle that is 15% improved than the last generation devices and has color balancing dual LED. Sadly Moto G4 does not support laser auto-focus.

Moto G4 Plus Camera

Moto G4 Plus has a 16MP camera that provides a more detailed photo experience with the support of laser auto focus.

Moto G4 Plus With FingerPrint Reader

The unlocking phone is easier in G4 Plus. You no more have to type the password to unlock your phone instead just put your finger on the fingerprint reader and it unlocks your phone!

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

The G series comes with an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It’s fast and improved. This series has Dual SIM support with 4G and 3G, unlike the last generation that had 4G and 2G.

Other Enhancements

There are other enhancements in Moto display, the feature that was presented in last-generation devices has now enhancements like, Swipe to unlock and Swipe to dismiss.

Pick up to stop ringing is another new feature

Every one of us often has moments when we forget to activate silent mode while we’re in a meeting or anywhere else where we don’t want the phone to ring. Moto G4 series solves the problem up to a limit by providing a “Pick up to stop ringing” feature. Assume that you’re in a meeting and your phone rings, just pick it up and the phone will automatically go into vibrate mode.

Flip for do not disturb

Flip for do not disturb is another new feature. As the name shows it activate do not disturb mode just on a flip and all the notifications, phone calls will be silent.
